When we set out to create a blog about gas station cuisine, we needed a rating scale. 

After brainstorming and debating a variety of complex algorithms, it was obvious: use the rating scale from the original Iron Chef. 

The rating scale is as follows:

• Taste: 10 possible points
• Presentation: 5 possible points
• Originality: 5 possible points
